My name is Christine. I have been a speciality baker since 2019, but have been baking for about nine years. I went to school for baking and pastry at the Clovis Institute of Technology in the year 2014. Considering the fact that I’ve always been an entrepreneur, I set out to do business for myself. The name of my business is The Good Baker.
As a baker in business for myself, for a few years I was kinda all over the place; baking for parties, weddings, selling macarons, fudge, yikes! It was fun but it just wasn’t really falling into place for me. one day I thought to myself, “what am I doing”?
Then, on a beautiful spring day, I was outside and the smell of the orange blossoms were in the air, yum! I was in a state; feeling happy, feeling blessed, and feeling grateful. Good time to bake a cookies!
Then, it dawned on me, (as all good things usually do), “why not specialize in a healthier baking option; vegan, gluten-free, and less sugar or no sugar”? Yes, that’s it!
Once I made that decision, literally in about a minute I came up with the name, “The Good Baker; using and thinking of the word “good” because of the fact that it is a healthier baking option.
From there, everything just fell into place.
I am also an artist. All of my life I have done some type of art; of course, decorating sugar cookies became my new art form and I love it! Cookie decorating is an ongoing learning experience for me and I’ve been perfecting this art form for as long as I’ve been a baker. I am constantly learning new skills so that I may be able to pass on my knowledge to others as I also teach cookie decorating classes through out the year for most holidays along with some additional fun summer themed classes.
This time of year is very busy for me. You can can come visit at the River Park Farmers Markets on Tuesday nights and Saturday mornings, Sunday morning at the Fort Washington Market and on Thursday nights at the market in the Tower District.
It is also time for me to start taking special orders for the holidays with my sugar cookies and gingerbread cookies so hurry to place your order as my calendar fills up quickly. I can’t wait!
I would consider it a privilege to become your favorite holiday baker, also your go to baker for alternative sweet treats! Hope to see you real soon!
Happy holidays from
The Good Baker!

Emily’s appreciation for stunning landscapes developed from a young age. She was born and raised in the exquisite foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains; studied Natural Resources and Environmental Management at the University of Hawaiʻi at Manoa; researched the Kings River Experimental Watersheds with the U.S. Forest Service, and worked in environmental policy at California State University, Sacramento. Throughout these extraordinary opportunities, she held on to her love for photography and made the decision to pursue it as a career in the summer of 2017.
Entirely self taught, Emily’s award-winning style developed naturally through photographing diverse flora, fauna, and landscapes found across the contiguous U.S. and Hawaiʻi. Her images grace the cover of the Ponderosa telephone book as well as other local publications. Her passion for the outdoors is the driving force behind her emphasis on in-camera technique rather than post-capture manipulation. As a result, her photos reflect the honest and remarkable experiences that she sees and feels every time she picks up her camera. Let her share those experiences with you!

Stones and colors speak to me. Nature inspires me. I think of jewelry as a form of painting - a collage of color, texture, shape and form. I love the history that resides in beads and enjoy incorporating various ethnic beads from my collection.

Art was a part of my everyday life as I taught High School Art for 37 years. It was hard to work in only one media as I taught over 7 different types of classes. I found working in clay was very rewarding, taking the lump and transforming it into a piece of Art (As a child I played in the mud a lot) . Along with working with clay, I also loved to create crafts using recycled materials. The transformation of common kitchen pieces into a recycled wood and cutlery angel is very rewarding or using old wood, books or dishes to create a one of a kind piece of art. Local Handmade

U Old Bag
After graduating from Fresno State with my BA in art, and having learned how to sew at the age of seven, I have operated a Drapery Workroom for the past 30 years. About two years ago I had an idea for a way to utilize scraps and pieces of leftover fabrics. I made my first 100% recycled materials shopping tote, and from that, U OLD BAG was born. I source belts for the handles at thrift stores, I find threat at estate sales, and the fabric is from leftover client projects or interesting pieces of vintage fabrics and such that I find at thrift stores or estate sales. Being that this venture is fairly new, I have enjoyed experimenting with different styles and designs of bags. This being my second year at Santa’s Bag I will not only be offering shopping totes but also wine bags, handbags, and Crossbody bags. I look forward again to all of the incredibly creative artisans that attend this show and all the people looking for something unique and interesting to take home with them!

Mosaic Artist
I began my mosaic hobby 14yrs. ago while visiting my sister Renee. She taught me the basics as I worked to create a pen holder for my desk. From that day forward I've always had a mosaic project going. I began making small projects for family and friends. I then branched out to make everything from crosses to tables and even guitars. My largest and most challenging project to date, 4 ft x 4 ft round logo set in concrete for a roofing company. This was a huge learning experience! I started my small mosaic business about 8 years ago, selling to friends at first, then branching out to small craft shows. I've been blessed to be a part of Santa's Bag Boutique for the past 4 years. I also keep busy with custom orders. Over the past several years my mosaic style has changed very little. I love small detailed designs, bright colors and whimsical pieces. I'm always on the lookout for something new and different. As a retired wife, mom and grandma I'm very busy, but finding time to create art work in many different shapes and sizes gives me peace and calm.

Basilwood Farm
Family-owned and operated goat farm where we create skin-nourishing goat’s-milk soap (and other goodies) from our micro herd of dairy goats (who all have names & collars). Each doe is milked daily to produce our farmstead soap. Each bar contains approximately 20% of our very own fresh milk. The soap we make has as much character and personality as the goats themselves. We refer to “our girls” as the caprine members of The Goat Milk Soap Team.
Our farm has been a 20-year labor of sweat and love to create something of a haven for people who live and visit here. We want to leave you better, happier, healthier and smiley-er than when you met us, whether in person or online. And to give you a little piece of Basilwood in everything we make.

Artisans Rhomie Thompson and Subrina Lorenzo have been co-creating original art together since 2020.
Rhomie a ceramic sculptor, painter and designer joined forces with Subrina, a welder, furniture maker
and metal artist to produce one-of-a-kind, large scale indoor and outdoor sculptures.
The duo use numerous methods of mixed media of clay, repurposed wood and metal along with various
other objects to create their world of animals, fish, suns & moons for the home and garden. Rhomie
will start with a ceramic form using different textures and glazes to create exciting imagery filled with
depth, color and movement; then Subrina will cut, weld, acid wash and assemble the different materials
to bring the sculptures to life. This talented team uses a combination of their imaginations to create art
out of joy.
These lifelong friends currently reside in the Central Valley of California, however their hearts live
amongst the communities where they have traveled and their artwork has found a new home.

When I think about how we, as all sentient beings, move through space and time, I am struck as to how we encounter things, anything. All the choices and non-choices that lead us in one direction or another set the stage for what or whom we cross paths. Sometimes these encounters manifest as art objects.

Kelley Jewelry Beauty
Kelley’s love affair with jewelry started at 8 yrs. old when her grandmother let her play with her collection; many of those pieces being crystal from the 1940’s.
Knowing that she wanted to run her own business one day, after a 30+yr career in the Beauty Industry, she decided to start designing and making jewelry in 2018.
“I was sitting in my living room and the sun was beaming in. The rainbows and shimmers coming off all my crystal bowls, vases, and ornaments…just made me smile. It was actually quite uplifting. That was the exact point I decided it was time to start creating jewelry and predominantly with Austrian Crystal stones. Their brilliance is amazing and the quality is the best out there. I also add in Gemstones to some of my collections. The best compliment I receive from my clients is that my jewelry makes them smile. I want to make as many people smile and thought how could I help others that may be in tough circumstances. I’m humbled that I have been able to help various women’s organizations; Domestic Violence, Human Trafficking, Support those that are terminally ill, and even help Animal Shelters around the county. I like to say, I can because you did. I could not help others without the support of my clients.”
Kelley emphasizes that her jewelry can be worn with any outfit. Her pieces are timeless, elegant, and fun – all in one. She does a lot of custom work especially using the Austrian Crystal Birthstone colors. “Birthdays are special to me. This collection celebrates that and the month one was born.”
